Privacy Policy
How BOTCOM Technologies collects, uses, and handles information in connection with our website and services.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the BOTCOM Technologies website and information received in connection with our website, digital infrastructure, and automation services. It is intended to describe our practices for a primarily US-focused business audience. Third-party websites and services, including Stripe-hosted checkout, have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect the information you provide, including your name, business name, email address, optional phone number and website URL, service interest, and message. During a project, you may provide authorized business content, brand assets, contact information, and other information needed for the agreed service.
Stripe-hosted checkout collects payment and billing information. BOTCOM may receive order, customer contact, payment status, subscription, and limited transaction details needed to fulfill services and manage billing. BOTCOM does not directly store full payment card details when Stripe-hosted checkout is used.
Our hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, device or browser information, request times, and diagnostic logs to deliver the website, maintain security, and investigate errors. Do not submit passwords, card numbers, or sensitive personal information through the contact form.
3. How information is used
We use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate service fit, communicate about projects, deliver agreed services, manage billing and cancellations, maintain records, address technical issues, and protect against misuse. We may also use information to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Contact submissions are stored for BOTCOM to review. After storage, an email notification containing your submitted details is sent to BOTCOM through Gmail. If email delivery fails, the stored request remains available for review. Submitting a contact inquiry does not sign you up for a marketing newsletter.
4. Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers for website hosting, infrastructure, contact request storage, email notifications, and payment processing. Lovable Cloud provides the site’s infrastructure and contact request storage; Google Gmail processes contact notification emails through the Lovable connector; Stripe processes hosted checkout payments. The site also requests fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive technical request information such as your IP address.
Providers receive or process information needed for their functions and may operate under their own terms and policies. If a project requires additional third-party tools, those tools and relevant responsibilities are addressed in the project scope. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, protect rights or security, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently include advertising pixels or an optional marketing analytics integration. Hosting, security, and third-party checkout services may use technical cookies or similar technologies for their operation. Stripe’s checkout practices are governed by Stripe’s policy.
If we introduce non-essential tracking or analytics, we will update this policy and provide appropriate choices where required. You can manage cookies through your browser, although blocking some technologies may affect third-party checkout or other services.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including inquiry handling, service delivery, ongoing support, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention depends on the nature of the information and any applicable requirements.
You may request deletion of information that is no longer needed. Certain records may need to be retained for legal, tax, security, or contractual purposes.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including restricted access to stored contact submissions. No transmission, storage system, or service can be guaranteed completely secure. You should only provide information necessary for your inquiry or agreed service.
Project credentials, if required, should be exchanged using an agreed secure method rather than this website’s contact form.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information, or ask questions about its use, through our contact page by selecting “Privacy request.” We may need to verify your identity and relationship to the information before responding.
Depending on your location and applicable law, additional rights may apply, including rights to a copy of information or to object to certain processing. Requests are subject to applicable exceptions. We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising legally protected privacy rights.
9. Children and international access
Our website and business services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. Privacy protections and legal requirements may differ from those in your location.
10. Policy updates
We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The date at the top indicates the latest update. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
